Flag Football Coaching Certification
TTAFFA offers a structured progression of standardized coaching certifications, ranging from Level 1 Foundations to Advanced High-Performance training. Designed to build a nationally certified coaching workforce, this program emphasizes athlete-centred, safe coaching practices aligned with the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model.
Flag Football Officiating Certification
To ensure high-quality, consistent game management across all levels of play, TTAFFA hosts comprehensive referee certification and refresher courses. Officials can advance through a clear operational pathway from Level 1 (Local) to Level 2 (National), and ultimately toward international officiating.
Flag Football Safeguarding Certification Program
The physical and emotional protection of all athletes is our highest priority. Rooted in TTAFFA’s comprehensive Safe Sport and Governance policies, this certification provides essential educational workshops on athlete welfare, child protection, and ethical sport practices. It is mandatory for all stakeholders—including coaches, officials, and administrators—to ensure a secure, inclusive, and strictly governed environment with a zero-tolerance approach to abuse.
Females in Flag Leadership Course
Recognizing women and girls as the cornerstone of flag football’s massive global expansion, TTAFFA is dedicated to increasing female leadership in all areas of the sport. This specialized program empowers women with the technical knowledge and administrative tools needed to excel as coaches, referees, and league coordinators. By providing dedicated resources and female-specific training programs, we are actively driving gender equity and shaping the future of Trinbagonian sport.
